Aston Villa have tabled a bid for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
Despite only arriving a year ago from Genoa, Milan are prepared to sell the Poland international this month, says TMW.
And Villa have come forward with a bid of €28m for the striker.
The Premier League strugglers are acting quickly after centre-forward Wesley suffered a knee injury last week.
Villa's prime competition comes from Germany, where Bayer Leverkusen are also keen.
For his part, Piatek is unsure about quitting the Rossonero after just 12 months with the Italian giants.
