West Bromwich Albion are considering a loan move for Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell with Preston North End last season, scoring seven goals in 20 games.

Archer has been on fire for England U21s this month having grabbed five goals in four appearances.

The Express & Star reports that Baggies boss Steve Bruce wants to pair Archer with Daryl Dike.

Villa manager Steven Gerrard won't let Archer leave until he assesses him during preseason.
