Callum Robinson was on target as Bristol City were bundled out of the Capital One Cup at the first time of asking on Tuesday.
The Robins were eliminated from the first round of the league cup after losing 3-1 to League Two outfit Luton Town at Kenilworth Road but there was something positive to take out of the disappointing result.
20-year-old winger Robinson, who is on a season-long loan from Aston Villa, gave City some semblance of hope when scored in the 71st minute to make it 3-1.
However, the Robins were unable to make nay more headway as the Hatters held on for an impressive victory.
Robinson will be looking to add to his debut Bristol goal when Steve Cotterill's side host Brentford in the Championship on Saturday.
