Aston Villa star Leon Bailey's comments would have impressed the club's supporters.

The Jamaican gave an interview to SiriusXM FC in the United States about the state of the Midlands team.

He admitted how much of a positive impact manager Unai Emery had made on Villa within a matter of a few months.

“It's just ridiculous how much he's had an impact on this whole team," Bailey outlined.

Bailey continued: “I think as a player, whether you're starting a game or not, you're so comfortable and confident to carry out whatever he has asked of you. That's rare to find in football players nowadays.

“If you're on the bench or something, a lot of players tend to get in their feelings. But everybody knows how important they are to the team and he makes you feel that way all the time.

“I think that just really gives every single body in the dressing room a different feeling. Now it's just like one big family here at the football club."
