Former Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones is being lined up for a Premier League return.

The Mirror says Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is planning to bolster the goalkeeping department after sending one of his top spies to watch Dutch side Feyenoord's former Liverpool keeper Jones.

Jones has rebuilt his career in Holland and has just earned a recall to the Australia squad.

Bruce could move for the veteran this summer just as Villa confirm their return to the Premier League.
