Aston Villa caretaker boss Kevin MacDonald wants to hold onto midfielder Barry Bannan.
The Daily Mail says Villa have rejected an approach from Blackpool to take midfielder Bannan back on loan.
Bannan, 20, scored for Villa in their Europa League tie against Rapid Vienna on Thursday night.
