Aston Villa are bringing back winger Bertrand Traore from his loan at Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir.
Traore did play 18 games in Turkey, but has suffered a serious knee injury.
Since he has been out of action since December, the club believe he can continue his rehabilitation in England.
Traore does have a chance of being fit before the end of the season.
He will then compete with the likes of Emi Buendia and Leon Bailey for a starting spot.
Manager Unai Emery will get a chance to run the rule over a player who only featured nine times last term.
