Aston Villa are showing serious interest in Celtic and Scotland midfielder David Turnbull.

The Hoops man is in Steve Clarke's Scotland squad for the European Championships this summer.

According to The Scottish Sun, Villa boss Dean Smith admires Turnbull and believes he can succeed in the Premier League.

Villa are willing to pay up to £7 million for the playmaker.

If the move materialises, the 21-year-old would join a side that includes Scottish teammate John McGinn.
