Aston Villa are stepping up their pursuit of Brentford striker Neal Maupay.

The Villains are attempting to build a squad that is capable of staying in the Premier League after their recent promotion.

They have already spent close to £100 million on players.

And 90min says Frenchman Maupay is their next target.

The player wants to move to the Premier League, while Villa boss Dean Smith has worked with him in the past.
