Aston Villa are preparing an offer for Fiorentina wing-back Juan Manuel Vargas.
Vargas has caught the eye of Villa scouts in the Copa America with Peru.
The Peru captain had already been linked with Villa, but his price-tag could well have risen after that showing.
It's believed the offer so far stands at 15m, although there is competition for Vargas' signature from Juventus and Liverpool.
