Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is planning a January swoop for Wolves striker Benik Afobe.
Villa have struggled to score this season, only netting eight goals so far, having failed to replace Christian Benteke who they sold to Liverpool in the summer.
The Sun on Sunday reports that Sherwood is willing to spend £10million on the former Arsenal man who scored 32 times for Wolves last season.
However, Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has refuted any chance of Afobe leave Molineux by saying this summer: "He is happy here, he works hard and has a central role and place in the team,.
"A lot of people ask me about him and about his future, but we bought him to Wolves to work with him and for us to be successful."
