Aston Villa players were back at their Bodymoor Heath training complex today.
The Express & Star says Dean Smith, his coaching staff and squad were scheduled to make their return on Tuesday afternoon to begin non-contact training in small groups.
Villa's squad has been split in half, with each player given one of two time slots to help adhere with social distancing measures.
Players are permitted to train in groups no larger than five, while are also required to arrive at the training ground already changed into their kit, having prepared their own personal drinks.
The Tuesday afternoon sessions are the first time Bodymoor has been open to players since it was closed on March 16, after the Premier League was halted by the coronavirus pandemic.
