Angers midfielder Baptiste Santamaria is attracting big Premier League interest.

L' Equipe says Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Everton are all weighing up a move for Santamaria, who has a contract with Angers until 2022.

Angers are keen to extend the 24-year-old's deal, but interest from the Premier League could make that difficult.

Villa could step up their interest after news that John McGinn faces three months out with a fractured ankle.

Santamaria has one goal in 19 appearances for Angers, who currently find themselves 8th in Ligue 1.
