Aston Villa are believed to be in talks with manager Paul Lambert regarding a new deal.
Reports suggest that Villa chief Paul Faulkner and owner Randy Lerner are hoping to bring some stability to Villa Park by securing Lambert to a long-term contract.
The Scotsman left Norwich City to take the reins in Birmingham in June 2012, signing an initial three-year deal, but is being earmarked to lead the club for the next few years at least.
