Aston Villa are moving to trump Leicester City for Luton Town defender James Justin.

The Daily Star says newly-promoted Villa are favourites to land the 19-year-old in manager Dean Smith's summer re-build.

Luton are desperate to keep the youngster who emerged as one of their star players as they clinched promotion from League One and are determined to get top price.

Villa can offer immediate first team football while Leicester are looking at Justin as cover at the moment.

Leicester also have other priorities including trying to wrap up the £40m signing of Youri Tielemans from Monaco on a permanent deal.
