Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has spoke about his future amid rumours linking him with Leicester City.

New Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers attempted to sign McGinn while in charge at Celtic.

But the Scotland international hopes he can lead Villa into the Premier League.

"Hopefully still at Aston Villa, playing in the Premier League," he said.

"We all know this club belongs in the top-flight, so hopefully I will be involved in that."
