Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey has welcomed the weekend break for his side.
The Premier League club do not have any matches this weekend, as the FA Cup fourth round takes place.
While Ramsey knows that remaining in the competition would have been preferable, he is pleased to get a bit of time off.
Ramsey said, per Express and Star: “We were disappointed to get knocked out of the FA Cup but now we have two weeks until Leicester at home.
“The boss can work on some tactics with us on the training ground."
Ramsey added on their recent 1-0 win over Southampton: “We work really hard in training on set-pieces with Austin (MacPhee) and the boss.
“Before the game, Austin said to us, 'Come on, we haven't scored a cross or a corner yet.' (Saturday) was the day."
