Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has revealed that Joe Cole will be extending his stay at the Ricoh Arena.

Cole joined Coventry on a one-month loan deal from Aston Villa and after having impressed for the League One side, the 34-year old is set to extend his spell in the West Midlands.

Mowbray confirmed the deal by telling the club's official website: "The extension is all agreed with Aston Villa.

"He hasn't put pen to paper yet but he's about to. Once that's done the loan will be until January 3rd."
