Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is still keen to add a transfer specialist as part of the club's hierarchy.

Emery wants assistance in finding the ideal players to bring to Villa Park in upcoming transfer windows.

The Spaniard has enjoyed a great start to life at the Midlands club, pushing them to within touching distance of the European spots in the Premier League.

Per Birmingham Live, Villa added Alberto Benito and Pablo Rodriguez as part of their scouting department.

Now they will focus on finding a new director of football, after Mateu Alemany of Barcelona decided to stay at the Nou Camp.

Alemany was intrigued by working with Emery at Villa, but decided against the move at the last moment.
