Aston Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton has been offered to Manchester United and Liverpool.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool are mulling over whether to bring in a new goalkeeper amid uncertainty over Adrian's future.
The Spaniard has the option of a further year with his contract due to expire this summer, but it has been claimed there is interest from his former club Real Betis.
Adrian lost his place as back-up goalkeeper to Caomhin Kelleher this season, but the report goes on to state that Liverpool are keen for the 22-year-old to go out on loan leaving space for a new goalkeeper.
It has been claimed that Liverpool were offered the chance to bring in Heaton, but the report states that he is set to go to Manchester United instead.
