Aston Villa are emerging as the likeliest destination for Sander Berge.

The Sheffield United midfielder is not interested in spending next season in the Championship.

Berge would prefer to leave the club in the summer, and the Norway international could command a significant fee.

According to Eurosport, Villa are admirers of Berge, and could make a summer move when Sheffield United are officially relegated.

Berge has been absent since December following surgery on a tendon in his leg.
