Aston Villa are eyeing a summer move for Sporting Lisbon striker Pedro Goncalves.

Pote was one of the heroes as Sporting knocked Arsenal out of the Europa League at the round of 16 on penalties. Pote hit a screamer on the night.

O Jogo says Villa have been watching the former Wolves trainee.

Interestingly, it's emerged Arsenal made enquiries in January for Pote, though Sporting referred them to his €80m buyout clause.

Things could change over the summer, however, with Villa ready to firm up their interest in the Portugal international.
