Aston Villa are reportedly close to completing a deal for out-of-favour Leicester City midfielder Gokhan Inler.
The Swiss international has only featured twice for Leicester so far this campaign, despite the Foxes forking out £5million to sign him from Napoli in the summer.
It is understood Villa boss Remi Garde will look to capitalise on Inler's desire to be playing first-team football ahead of next summer's Euro 2016 tournament.
"I am aware of his situation. I know him well and every player who has his eyes on the Euros wants to be playing," Garde said when asked about a potential move for Inler.
