Aston Villa defender Lamare Bogarde is interesting West Brom.
The Athletic says Villa are ready to make a decision on whether to send the teenager out on loan for the remainder of the season when the January transfer window opens. Should they decide to do so, then West Brom are one of the club said to have 'shown an interest' in a potential deal.
Albion could be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements in order to help them climb the Championship table in the second half of the season. The Baggies are currently in 17th position in the league having won four of their last five games.
Should Villa sanction a temporary move for Bogarde, it is expected that he will move to a club 'no lower' than the Championship. The defender has not been included in the matchday squad for Villa's final friendly before the return of the Premier League in just over a week's time.
