Aston Villa are chasing Heerenveen striker Bas Dost.

Villa have been active in the Dutch transfer market this season and already have agreed a pre-contract deal with AZ Alkmaar midfielder Brett Holman.

The People says Villa are also interested in 22 year-old striker Dost, who has been in prolific form this term, including scoring all five goals in Heerenveen's 5-0 win over Excelsior.
