Aston Villa have joined the chase for Stoke City defender Harry Souttar.

The Australian international has started the season in top form for the Championship club.

Football Insider says Villa are hoping to secure the 6ft 5in defender in January.

Everton has also been linked with the 22-year-old, who is under contract at Stoke until 2025.
