Aston Villa captain John Terry has paid tribute to former Chelsea teammate Cesar Azpilicueta.

The legendary centre-back, who racked up over 700 appearances for Chelsea, hailed the 28-year-old's ability.

“I always said to him that if you had 11 of you, you would have an unbelievable team," Terry said.

“I see him as a leader and I think you can see that from when he first arrived and developing into that role.

“He leads the team and leads the group – hence being vice-captain."
