Aston Villa captain John McGinn: That's two points dropped

Aston Villa captain John McGinn admitted frustration after their 0-0 draw with Leeds.

Villa couldn't take advantage of Leeds winger Luis Sinisterra's dismissal.

McGinn said, "Certainly it's two points dropped. A lot of frustration in the dressing room naturally, playing against ten men you should go and take chances and win the game but it doesn't always work like that.

"Leeds put their bodies on the line but we did create chances to win the game but unfortunately we didn't manage to take those.

"We'll be doing a lot of work on taking those chances which will take us up the table because we feel we've stopped the rot, we've stopped conceding goals, we're defending well. It's about trying to click further up the park and we're not quite there yet but working towards it.

"That's the frustrating thing because 11v11 I thought we had some good chances to go ahead. We'll review it tomorrow, we'll see things that we didn't see on the park at the time. But we need to play with a lot more aggression, speed, create better chances because no matter who it is in this league if they go down to ten men they're still a threat."
