Aston Villa captain Grealish delighted for Watkins and McGinn after international goals

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish was delighted for Ollie Watkins after he scored in England's defeat of San Marino last night.

It continues an impressive season for Watkins, who has scored 12 goals in his debut campaign for Villa.

He signed from Brentford for £28 million in the summer, linking back up with Dean Smith after the Villa boss bought him from Exeter City to Griffin Park.

Keeping a keen eye on the action on Thursday night was Villa captain Grealish, who sent Watkins a message after his goal.

Grealish also congratulated John McGinn on a fine goal for Scotland, his bicycle kick rescuing a point against Austria.

"Over the moon for Ollie, could see just how much it meant to him during his interview there at the end, absolutely delighted for him," Grealish said on Twitter.

"Also well done me sannnn McGinn decent goal."
