Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is happy to stick with his current system.
Smith has continued to play a 4-1-4-1 formation in the Premier League, with stand-out stars Jack Grealish and John McGinn operating alongside each other with a midfield anchorman in behind them.
"In midfield we're playing a one and a two at the moment," Smith told BirminghamLive. "With a one and a two you get two midfielders closer to Wesley [McGinn and Grealish]. If I played a two and a one [in a 4-2-3-1, for example] you get one less closer to him!
"I'm quite happy with the system at the moment and, more importantly, the players are. The system's worked well and we'll continue with that."
