Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce says they're trying to close a deal for Everton winger Yannick Bolasie today.

The Championship club are in talks to take the DC Congo international on loan for the rest of the season.

He said: “We are trying. We hope we can get Yannick Bolasie over the line.

“There's bits and pieces to be done, still work to be done. Hopefully we can announce something later today or tomorrow."

Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis admitted yesterday that Bolasie would be joining Villa.
