Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is already planning for next season after conceding a Champions League berth.
Villa currently sit in fifth position on the league table but are 10 points in arrears of Arsenal who look certain to qualify for next season's Champions League.
O'Neil said the club would begin to look at bolstering their squad over summer.
"We are covering a lot of games at this moment in time - both here and abroad. A lot of games," O'Neill said on the club's official website.
"We are getting reports about players who have a lot of potential but at the same time we are not taking our eye off the end of this season.
"We'd like to get ourselves back on track as soon as possible and end the season as strongly as possible.
"That would be very important for us. I think it is possible to do both. We are definitely looking at next season but focusing on a good run-in too.
"We want to finish as high as we possibly can. It we can beat last season's position of sixth, it would be terrific."
