Aston Villa and West Brom play out friendly draw

Aston Villa and West Brom played a 2-2 draw in Saturday's friendly.

Jack Grealish and Keinan Davis were on target for Premier League Villa as they came back from behind to draw 2-2.

Albion's Polish winger Kamil Grosicki had put them 1-0 up before Davis equalised and Filip Krovinovic edged Albion ahead again before Grealish hit back.

The two squads of 25 players plus coaching staff arrived at the stadium in their own kit and their own cars as they adhered to new protocols.

Most players managed around half an hour each as squads were rotated through three 30 minute sessions.

John McGinn, 25, is stepping up his recovery after fracturing an ankle and played 30 minutes. His last match for Villa was in their 3-1 defeat to Southampton on December 19 and his presence has been sorely missed in their battle for survival.
