Aston Villa has joined the battle for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

Leeds Live reports Villa are the front-runners to sign Heaton on a loan deal.

The Villains are the most likely destination for the Burnley stopper, who has fallen behind Joe Hart in the Turf Moor pecking order.

However the midlands club face competition from Championship rivals Leeds, who are also looking to strengthen in that department.
