Eliaquim Mangala insists he is now feeling much more comfortable as a Manchester City player.
The 24-year-old French defender endured a difficult debut season at the Etihad Stadium after joining from FC Porto for £32million last summer.
But Mangala has started the new season in fine form alongside Vincent Kompany, keeping four clean sheets in the Premier League, and is much more assured in a sky blue shirt in his second campaign with the club.
"I have benefitted and learned from the difficulties of last season," he told journalists at a press conference.
"I must be efficient and consistent through the club season, both in the Premier League and in the Champions League and then when I'm with France, I must give assurance to the coach and then the rest is up to him."
