Artur Boruc has signed a one-year contract with Bournemouth.

The veteran goalkeeper will now spend another season at the club, which will be his sixth.

The 39-year-old made 17 appearances for the club this season, even getting the no1 goalkeeping spot for part of the season from Asmir Begovic.

While the Pole will likely not be first choice next season, he is happy to play a supporting role in the latter years of his career.

Bournemouth will be pleased knowing they do not have to sign a replacement this summer.
