Arthur Melo's support team are angry over the claims of Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
The midfielder is now in Brazil and refusing to return to Barca for their Champions League campaign after failing to see any action since his Juve deal was confirmed.
Bartomeu has since lashed out at Arthur, stating: "It is unjustifiable and totally incomprehensible. It is an act of unacceptable indiscipline. I called him and he said 'I will not come back, I will stay in Brazil'."
But in response, members of Arthur's entourage told TMW his priority was always to remain with Barca and he never entered any negotiations with Juve until he was granted permission by Bartomeu.
Indeed, it was widely reported that Barca were struggling to move on Arthur due to his initial reluctance to leave.
