Barcelona coach Quique Setien won't count on Arthur Melo for their Champions League campaign in Lisbon.
After going AWOL a fortnight ago, Arthur returned from Brazil last week and held talks with Barca sporting director Eric Abidal over the weekend about his situation.
Having signed for Juventus last month, Arthur was ignored by Setien during the LaLiga restart and has been demanding Barca release his registration so he can focus on his new club.
Barca's legal team will meet with Arthur and his minders on Friday in an attempt to resolve the issue.
However, for the moment, the midfielder has played his last game for the Catalans.
