Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta came to the defence of recent signing Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Japan international, who signed for the Gunners on deadline day from Bologna, was not at his best against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday.
The Gunners gave up two sloppy goals that resulted in Palace having a 2-1 lead in the second half, which they held onto until stoppage time.
Alexandre Lacazette scored Arsenal's equaliser later in the game.
Arteta was asked about Tomiyasu post-game by reporters and said, per the club's website: "No I haven't seen any fatigue, but I see the same player where he tries, and he goes for every single duel, every single ball in the right manner, like any player.
"He had better and worse moments during the game, but I'm really happy with him."
