Arteta calls Arsenal players back for pre-season training in less than two weeks

Arsenal players will report for pre-season training in less than two weeks ahead, reports have claimed.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is keen to get his squad back working as soon as possible ahead of a big 2022/23 campaign.

The first team squad are due to return on June 27, according to Arsenal Fixture News.

However, players still on international duty will be given extra time to recharge.

They will not report for pre-season training on that date.

Arsenal kick-off their preseason matches with a clash against German outfit FC Nurnberg on July 8.
