Five Arsenal academy players were called up to first-team training before Mikel Arteta was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Arteta was forced into self-isolation last week after he contracted the virus after contact with Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis.
But before he departed, the Spaniard made an interesting move by testing five youngsters in first-team training, according to the Daily Cannon.
Cirjan Catalin, Miguel Azeez, Kido Taylor-Hart, Zech Medley and Alfie Matthews all participated in the training session.
Catalin has been the standout for Arsenal's U18 side this season, having scored three goals and provided three assists.
He signed his first professional contract in December after arriving from Romanian side Viitorul Domnesti last summer.
