Mikel Arteta believes there is a bond growing between his Arsenal team and the club's supporters.

Arteta was responding to Aaron Ramsdale giving his shirt to a young Arsenal fan after Saturday's 1-0 victory over Burnley.

"I felt it," Arteta told Arsenal Media. "I felt there was some connection building and I think they realise what they have done, and the players have to show their appreciation and gratitude like that did.

"That only brings more cohesion, more connection and more relationships, closer relationships and that will strengthen the team for sure."

The Gunners have won two straight Premier League matches after losing their first three matches of the season.
