Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted his transfer plans could change after a knee injury to Calum Chambers.

The defender suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to Chelsea at the Emirates.

A prognosis has yet to be given but there are fears Chambers could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

“We will discuss in the next few days, internally, where we can improve the squad," Arteta said after the game.

“Because at the moment we have a lot of injuries like I said.

“Some of them might be long term as well, so we have to adapt the plan."
