Arsenal are not in the mood to discuss a new contract with Alexandre Lacazette until the season concludes.
The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer, and can talk to clubs outside England and sign a pre-contract with a team in January.
Despite the risk of losing the 30-year-old, Arsenal have no concerns about the matter.
According to The Sun, Arsenal would rather lose Lacazette for nothing, than offer him a long-term deal on his present £200,000-a-week wages.
If a deal can be done on lesser terms in the summer, they may oblige, but Lacazette is free to find a new team outside of England from January onward.
