Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury is keen to extend his loan at Watford.
Lansbury is making solid progress and has not ruled out the prospect of extending his Watford spell beyond the New Year.
"I'm not sure how long I will be there," he told Arsenal.com. "The clubs are still speaking so I need to speak to the boss about that. But I just want to go out and play really so I would be happy to stay at Watford for longer.
"There is a bit of an ache there because I'd like to be part of the Carling Cup run but I just want to play football. I just wanted to get some more games under my belt and more experience. That's what I am doing at Watford and hopefully it will continue.
"I think what a player gets at Arsenal is just fantastic, but you've got to go out and see what it's like at different clubs. You have to take that on board and learn from it."
