Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker is hopeful of team's chances in the Champions League and feels that they need to be fearless on their trip to Olympiakos next month.
The Gunners will travel to Athens to take on the Greek side in December 9 knowing that a victory by a two-goal margin would be enough to see them through the knockout stages of the tournament.
"We believe and before the game we knew we were capable of doing special things," Mertesacker said.
"We dropped a lot of points which is disappointing but there is still a chance so we believe. It is a nightmare how we played the first two games.
"We have to face the truth and that is that we have to score more than one goal against Olympiakos."
"We have a good chance. We believe that we can score goals. You saw that we are always capable of doing that.
"Let's go there without fear, respect our opponent but keep patient until the end."
