Arsenal will sign Aleksandar Golovin from CSKA Moscow, then loan him back to the club immediately.

According to Russian journalist Ilya Kasakov, Arsenal is closing in a 10m deal for the 21-year old.

Arsenal scout Pavel Kucherov stated yesterday to Sports: "This player is not talented enough for European level and it's unrealistic to discuss his transfer to a top EPL club.

"Alexander would need to improve his football in general, as well as his physical, psychological and mental attributes."

Realistically, the move would allow Golovin to improve on the areas Kucherov has identified, while simultaneously allowing Arsenal to develop a young talent.
