Arsenal will challenge Manchester United for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Mijat Gacinovic.

The Sun says United boss Jose Mourinho was in the crowd last week in Vienna to see the Serbian international lose against Austria.

The midfielder played for 87 minutes in the defeat, and Mourinho who tried not be spotted in the crowd wearing a baseball cap was clearly impressed by what he saw.

After representing Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17's, Gacinovic switched his allegiance to Serbia at senior level and has scored two goals in his three games.

Arsenal are also in the mix for the highly-rated star who can operate as an attacking midfielder or out wide as they look to bolster their attacking options next summer.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could look to land Gacinovic as a replacement for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who joined Liverpool in the summer.
