Arsenal, West Ham target Nordtveit to leave Monchengladbach for England

Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed that Havard Nordtveit will be leaving the club this summer.

The 25-year-old Norwegian midfielder has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and West Ham United in recent times and it now appears that he will be making his way to the Premier League when his Gladbach contract expires at the end of the season.

The Bundesliga club Tweeted the following on Sunday: "Havard Nordtveit has opted not to extend his contract and will move to England in the summer."

Nordtveit's next club has not yet been confirmed but it looks as though the former Gunners man, who failed to feature for the North London club during 2007 and 2010, will be back in England next campaign.

The Norway international has made 23 league appearances for a total of 31 in all competitions for Andre Schubert's side this season.
