Arsenal are watching Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals.

The Daily Express says Fornals is being scouted by the Gunners as they consider him as a replacement for Mesut Ozil.

Tottenham and Napoli, which made an attempt in January, are also keen.

Fornals is playing alongside Arsenal hero Santi Cazorla at Villarreal and has forced his way into the Spain squad.

And further strengthening Arsenal's prospects is the admiration of Monchi, who is expected to be confirmed Gunners sports director in the coming weeks.
